James Dougherty, MD, MBAPrior to starting Arcus Ventures in 2007, Dr. Dougherty cofounded the Arcus Group in 2001, a consulting company that provided due diligence and strategic guidance for financial service and pharma/biotech clients. Dr. Dougherty became a Venture Partner of Cross Atlantic Partners in 2003, a healthcare and biotechnology venture capital fund located in New York City. He was the Deputy Physician-in Chief for Clinical Affairs at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) from 1997 through 2001. In that position, he was responsible for the oversight of clinical programs and patient care operations. Dr. Dougherty received his BS in Biology from Georgetown University and his MD from Pennsylvania State University, Hershey School of Medicine. In 1997, he earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. | |
