Mr. Cassis joined Cross Atlantic Partners in 1994 as a Managing Partner. He was formerly a Director of Solomon Brothers Venture Capital, which he joined in 1986 and headed from 1990 to 1994. From 1981 to 1986, he was President of Tower Hall, a development banking company he founded. From 1976 to 1981 he was a Managing Director of Ardshiel Associates, Inc. a merchant bank. In 1972, Mr. Cassis joined Johnson & Johnson where he had direct operating experience, founded the J&J Development Corporation, that firms venture capital arm, and was J&J’s Manager of Acquisitions. He served on the boards of directors of many companies, including IMPATH (Chairman), Dome Imaging Systems (Chairman), ILEX Oncology, NOMOS Corporation, Eximias Pharmaceuticals, and Galt Associated and currently holds directorships in Medivance, Nutrition 21, BioMedical Enterprises, and Medco Health Solutions. Mr. Cassis is a graduate of Harvard University (BA ‘70) and the Harvard Business School (MBA ‘72).
