Mr. Leck co-founded Florida Capital Partners, a private equity investment fund in Tampa in 1989. FCP Funds I through V had capital commitments of $217 million. In 2001, he became a limited partner in FCP VI. Prior to FCP, Mr. Leck was general partner with Chemical Venture Partners (the predecessor of JP Morgan Capital Partners); prior to that he was an M A investment banker in New York City with Drexel Burnham Lambert. He holds a B.S. degree from the McIntire Business Program at the University of Virginia, with a concentration in Finance. His board of directors experience includes dozens of current and former corporate boards. His non-profit board positions include the Foundation for Independent Living (a South Florida not-for-profit organization operating orphanages, schools, nutrition and medical programs in Haiti); and he is a former Trustee of Independent Day School. Mr. Leck is married to Genevieve and has three sons and a daughter. The family lives in Tampa, Florida. His hobbies include raising his children, coaching youth sports, travel, art, reading, and physical fitness.
